Title: HSE Advisor
Brief Description:
This is an onsite role and requires someone to be onsite in January 2010.
To maintain, monitor and implement Company's Safety Management system.
To provide expertise in the field of Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Protection and Security.
To prepare detailed HSE inputs to meet contract requirements.
Ensuring project execution in compliance with objections for HSE as set out in the HSSE plan and associated documents.
Assist in generating procedures and standards to maintain and update the Health, Safety, Environmental Protection and Security plans of the company.
Provide advice and support during marine load-outs.
Review of towing arrangements and plans.
Review of Project Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures to ensure compliance with Company's corporate policies relating to Health and Safety and Protection of the Environment. Monitoring of, and reporting on, Health and Safety and Environmental Protection performance within the client.
Provide training in HSE subjects to company personnel as required by the HSSE manager.
Maintain and review HSE records and statistical information.
Carry out internal HSSE audits within Company and sister companies.
Carry out HSSE audits of suppliers and contractors as required by the HSSE Manager.
Produce project specific. or otherwise special, HSE and Emergency Response Plans and safety cases as required.
Monitor changes in HSSE statutory legislation, rules and regulations and ensure communication of necessary information throughout the project organisation.
Monitoring and promoting of safety at the client.
Promotion of Safety throughout the company, its clients, suppliers and contractors by means of incentive schemes, contractual arrangements, publicity campaigns, posters and videos etc.

Brief Description:
HAZOP/HAZID arrangement & participation, ALARP demonstrations, QRA coordination, AFP/PFP design& development (including experience in relevant software i.e. PIPENET or equivalent). Previous experience of the design and build of hardware associated with AFP and PFP and/or experience of working with or managing as 3rd-party system-integrator /fire protection companies. Hazardous area classification. Knowledge of operational safety case updates, combined operations safety case etc. Able to plan and cost small to large project safety scopes, including development of cost estimates. Able to scope work for, and manage external consultancies. Able to act as a liason point for the project with external regulatory bodies.

Title: Safety Officer
Brief Description: Reporting to the OIM (offshore Installation manager) the Safety Officer is responsible for the management of the safety and environment performance and compliance with the HSEQ management systems onboard.
Promoting awareness of offshore safety requirements and procedures, as well as environment processes.
Carry out safety inspections, Stop tours and ensuring compliance with the permit to work system
Work with crews, vendors to enhance safety and environment standards and culture, participating in toolbox talks, risk assessments, inspections, audits and accident investigations as required.
Ensuring compliance with, and promoting onboard awareness of all offshore safety requirements and procedures; as well and environmental processes.
Carry out site safety inspections, STOP tours and ensuring compliance with the permit to work system.
Work with crews and vendors to enhance safety and environmental standards and culture, participating in toolbox talks, risk assessments, inspections, audits and accident investigations as required.
Ensure that all works are carried out with due regard to safe operating practices and company procedures.
In the event of near miss/incidents, fully investigate, report and propose new procedures.
Familiarise, train and mentor new and existing employees on the unit procedures and HSE routines.
Provide a professional and informative liaison between the OIM, HSEQ and unit management to develop and deliver a first class safety culture through training and initiatives.
Assume responsibility for the upkeep and management of the accident/incident and near miss reporting system.
